Cultivate in the students a research - oriented attitude and involvement in community activities which will help prepare them for productive a life in society;

Create an atmosphere of professionalism founded on integrity and ethical standards; and

Prepare the students for more specialized studies in the fields of Biology, Psychology, and Communication.
