Inspired by theological virtues of faith, hope and love, including the cardinal virtues of justice, prudence, temperance and fortitude, the Angelenean is expected to manifest integrity of character in thought, speech and action.

Commitment to learning and academic competence are, in essence, a search for that which is true. The school takes part in "the ardent search for truth and its unselfish transmission to youth and to all those learning to think rigorously, so as to act rightly and to serve humanity better" (Ex Corde Ecclesiae 2). The Angelenean upholds the value of search for truth and knowledge for brilliant disposition.
