Mabuti or Integrity of Character — “Virtus”

  • This core value implies courage, worth, integrity and character; to be virtuous means to be respectful, humble, kind, true and honest in all aspects of one’s life.
  • Inspired by the theological virtues of faith, hope and love, including the cardinal virtues of justice, prudence, temperance and fortitude, the Angelenean is expected to manifest integrity of character, shown as goodness in thought, speech and action.
  • Values faith, hope and love, and Christ-centeredness through respect, humility, kindness, truth and honesty in one’s thought, speech and action.
  • Manifests good manners and right conduct with deep respect and regard for others.
  • Abides by the rules and regulations of the school, the community and the country with respect for ethical standards and moral values.
  • Shows love and respect for God, humanity, the country and the environment.

Magaling or Competence for Excellence — “Veritas”

  • Commitment to learning and academic competence are, in essence, a search for that which is true; the school takes part in the ardent search for truth and its unselfish transmission to youth and to all those learning to think rigorously, so as to act rightly and to serve humanity better (Ex Corde Ecclesiae 2).
  • The Angelenean upholds the value of the search for truth and knowledge for brilliant disposition.

May Malasakit sa Kapwa or Charity as Mission — “Caritas”

  • Practices concern and care for others, especially the poor, the disabled and the marginalized members of society through leadership, volunteerism, service, and acts of generosity.
  • Initiates or participates in school-based, classroom-based, and community-based advocacies for cultural understanding, peace, respect for human rights and preservation of the environment.
