Admission Requirements for International Students
AUF welcomes qualified international applicants for undergraduate, graduate, and professional programs. Requirements vary by program level. All academic documents must be in English or accompanied by a certified English translation.

How to Apply as an International Student
The application process for international students is straightforward. Our Admissions Office and ISO team are available to assist you at every step.

Download & Complete the Application Form
Download the International Student Application Form from the AUF Admissions Office or request it by email. Fill it out completely and attach all required documents.

Submit Your Application
Email your completed application and documents to admissions@auf.edu.ph. Applications are accepted year-round, but enrollment is tied to the academic calendar — apply early.

Receive Assessment & Admission Decision
The Admissions Office will review your application and contact you within 5–10 business days. Applicants to the School of Medicine must also take the NMAT.

Confirm Enrollment & Pay Reservation Fee
Upon acceptance, confirm your enrollment by paying the non-refundable reservation fee. Instructions for payment (bank transfer or online) will be provided in your acceptance letter.

Process Your Student Visa
With your AUF Acceptance Letter, proceed with your Student Visa application at the Philippine Embassy. Our ISO will guide you through this step.

Attend International Student Orientation
Before classes begin, all new international students are required to attend the AUF International Student Orientation — a full-day program covering campus life, immigration, and academic expectations.

Student Visa Guide
Visa & Immigration
International students studying at AUF for more than six months are required to hold a valid Student Visa (9f) issued by the Philippine Bureau of Immigration. AUF's International Student Office will guide you through the process.

Receive Your Acceptance Letter
Upon successful admission, AUF will issue an official Acceptance Letter and a Student Endorsement Letter. These documents are required for your visa application.

Apply at the Philippine Embassy
Submit your visa application to the Philippine Embassy or Consulate in your home country. Bring your AUF Acceptance Letter, passport, admission documents, proof of financial capacity, and visa application form.

Arrive and Register with BI
Upon arrival in the Philippines, register with the Bureau of Immigration (BI) within 60 days. AUF's ISO will accompany first-time students to the BI regional office in Angeles City.

Convert to Student Visa (9f)
If you entered on a tourist visa (9a), you must convert to a Student Visa (9f) at the Bureau of Immigration. AUF will provide the required school endorsement letter for your conversion.

Annual Visa Renewal
Student visas must be renewed annually for the duration of your program. AUF's ISO will notify you of renewal deadlines and assist with the process each school year.
Important Reminders
- Student Visa (9f) holders may not work in the Philippines without a separate Alien Employment Permit (AEP).
- Always carry your valid passport and ARC (Alien Certificate of Registration) or I-Card with you.
- Notify AUF's International Student Office of any changes to your immigration status immediately.
- Overstaying your visa is a serious legal violation — AUF strongly advises all students to stay compliant.

Your primary point of contact at AUF. The ISO assists with immigration compliance, orientation, academic advising, cultural adjustment, and any concerns during your stay.

Housing Assistance
AUF maintains a curated list of verified boarding houses, dormitories, and apartments near campus. The ISO will help you find safe, affordable accommodation before arrival.

International students have access to the AUF University Clinic and the AUF Medical Center for medical consultations, emergency care, and health monitoring.
