Partnership Process
Guidelines on Establishing Partnership with AUF
AUF welcomes collaborative relationships with local and international institutions, industries, government agencies, and non-governmental organizations. All partnerships must align with AUF's vision, mission, and institutional priorities, and must undergo the standard partnership establishment process outlined below.

If the unit has decided that the proposal is feasible and will bring mutual benefits to both parties, the Unit head shall endorse the proposal to the OVPEA. |

Notice / DisclaimerIf the proposed partnership does not involve any facility- or equipment-related requirements, this step may be omitted. |

The MOU and MOA template will be forwarded to the concerned college/unit and the prospective partner. |

Policy Overview
AUF Policy for External Affairs
The AUF is guided by its mission, vision, and educational philosophy in setting standards and guidelines for harmonized, effective and efficient implementation of its programs and initiatives for establishing networks, linkages, and partnerships. The AUF Policy on External Affairs guides the university towards achieving its goal on establishing strategic partnerships with external partners to support the holistic development of its students, teaching employee, and non-teaching staff.
Key Policy Principles
- 1Partnerships shall be mutually beneficial and support one or more of the University's three-fold functions: instruction, research, and community engagement.
- 2Partnerships shall align with the University's Vision, Mission, Educational Philosophy, strategic priorities, and institutional values, and shall contribute to enhancing the University's reputation and long-term development.
- 3Partnerships shall adhere to the requirements of applicable laws, regulations, and the policies of relevant regulatory and accrediting bodies.
- 4Partnerships shall undergo the review and approval process established by the University prior to execution and implementation.
- 5Partnerships for internship, practicum, clinical placement, and other academic experiential learning activities shall be reviewed and endorsed by the Office of the Vice President for Academic Affairs (OVPAA).
- 6Partnerships shall be established for a defined period and shall be subject to regular monitoring, evaluation, and renewal based on performance, relevance, and mutual compliance with the agreed terms.
